My mission is to ensure access to our history for future generations through preservation education for institutions and individuals and the conservation of our documentary heritage.
I have worked in the fields of conservation and preservation for over 20 years, specializing in book conservation, consultations, and training on the full spectrum of collections care topics. I work with libraries, archives, museums, and all other types of cultural heritage institutions of any size. I am a Professional Associate of the American Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works (AIC) and an adjunct faculty member for the Simmons College Graduate School of Library and Information Science. I earned my BA in Mathematics from St. Olaf College and my MLIS with Advanced Certificate in Conservation from the University of Texas-Austin with additional graduate work in mathematics and archaeology.
